SpaceX’s Vision for Connectivity
In 2022, T-Mobile unveiled its strategic alliance with SpaceX aiming to eliminate connectivity dead zones by enabling users’ mobile devices to interface directly with Starlink satellites. In pursuit of this objective, SpaceX is now seeking a substantial increase—nine times more than the current power flux-density thresholds—for out-of-band emissions necessary for launching what they term Supplemental Coverage from Space (SCS).
