Thorsun is on the lookout for talented individuals to fill roles in Fall/Winter product development and graphic artistry. This unique position involves direct collaboration with the brand’s founder, making it an excellent opportunity for passionate fashion enthusiasts who possess a foundational understanding of the industry. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in crafting commercially viable designs across various collections.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be tasked with coordinating and delivering designs that align with our overarching business strategy, focusing on style, color/print, fit, and fabric for both new and existing product lines. A strong grasp of current fashion trends and consumer preferences is essential to inform these product designs.
This role also offers a chance to contribute significantly to our latest collaborative collection’s development process.
Current Retail Partners
Our products are currently available at prestigious retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Mr. Porter, The Webster Miami, among others both domestically and internationally.
Essential Qualities We Seek:
- A current university student or recent graduate
- A keen eye for detail coupled with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- The capacity to work autonomously while meeting deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
Duties in Product Development:
- An understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept through production.
- A genuine passion for fashion design and art.
- Cohesive collaboration directly with the founder from initial ideas to final products.
- Assistance in creating patterns, CAD drawings, sketches, and technical packs.
- Sourcing materials while tracking samples efficiently.
- Liaising effectively with sample rooms as well as manufacturing facilities.
Duties as a Graphic Artist:
- Create visually appealing graphics tailored for social media platforms including ads and website content.< / li >
